what a shame
My mind is ablaze with thoughts in which I don't know. A foreign landscape left barren for some time. Returning brings troublesome memories. Though I fear a potential diservice to what could be all of humanity if left unexplored. So I venture onward through a world in which I've left behind. A conscious thought lay not yet found. Perhaps one will awake a new day with just what they were seeking on the tip of their tongue. Or perhaps sleepless hours past dusk will float into a new dawn with no resolution to this new world in sight. So they trudge forward a new day. Once again shutting the door to this world. Forcing them to awake the body and return to the world most common and comfortable. What regrets lie there are unknown. And again one is silent in mind, awake in body. Just were society has placed them. A shame. Truelly. One might never know what could hath wrought from the journey.

Her 1-27-14
I loved a soul
Fell in sync with a forgiving heart
People judged what they didn't know
Didn't look past it as more than show
Jealousy rose,
Battles were won
Yet both stood still in chaos
Unshakable in a world refusing to love
I said goodbye, for the night
Yet impact broke and struck fear in her
She wouldn't look me in the eye,
For fear her eyes just couldn't lie
Of the pain coursing inside
I collapsed under pressure, just couldn't breathe
The resonance of what one word expressed
I could not fathom her to view me as capable
Of leaving behind in one solemn goodbye
Through print on a screen,
For I could never break a love so deeply ingrained in such profound fate
Fell in sync with a forgiving heart
People judged what they didn't know
Didn't look past it as more than show
Jealousy rose,
Battles were won
Yet both stood still in chaos
Unshakable in a world refusing to love
I said goodbye, for the night
Yet impact broke and struck fear in her
She wouldn't look me in the eye,
For fear her eyes just couldn't lie
Of the pain coursing inside
I collapsed under pressure, just couldn't breathe
The resonance of what one word expressed
I could not fathom her to view me as capable
Of leaving behind in one solemn goodbye
Through print on a screen,
For I could never break a love so deeply ingrained in such profound fate
